Cancellation Policy
Effective Date: July 2026
CruiseBookings.online facilitates bookings on behalf of multiple cruise lines. Cancellation policies, penalties, and refund eligibility are determined by the specific cruise line you book with. The following general cancellation guidelines apply.
1. Cruise Line Cancellation Terms
When you confirm a booking, you agree to the cancellation policy of the selected cruise line. These terms vary by cruise line, fare type, sailing region, and length of cruise. Please review the cancellation schedule provided in your booking confirmation.
2. Standard Cancellation Windows
Most cruise lines use a tiered cancellation schedule. As a general guide, cancellations made further from the sail date typically receive a higher refund or future cruise credit, while cancellations closer to departure may incur significant penalties. However, this is only a general guide and the cruise line's official terms apply.
3. How to Cancel
To cancel a booking, please contact us as soon as possible. We will submit the cancellation request to the cruise line on your behalf and confirm any penalties, refunds, or future cruise credits according to the cruise line's policy.
4. Non-Refundable Deposits and Fares
Some promotional fares, restricted rates, and deposits are non-refundable. These conditions will be disclosed at the time of booking. Please confirm the fare rules before finalizing your reservation.
5. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against unexpected cancellations due to illness, emergencies, or other covered events. Insurance claims are handled directly with the insurance provider.
6. Cruise Line-Initiated Cancellations
If the cruise line cancels your sailing, you will generally be offered a refund, future cruise credit, or the option to rebook, depending on the cruise line's policy at the time of cancellation.
